The Eady Forum

Established by Adrian Shaughnessy in 2011, Eady forum is a student-led initiative operating from the Royal College of Art's School of Visual Communication. It was built as a platform for critical interrogation into the role of contemporary graphic design
Between 2011 and 2013, the Eady Forum was developed and managed by myself and fellow RCA students Jessica Morgan and Jack Llewellyn. Throughout the two year period, we arranged bi-monthly seminars, held a symposium at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and published a compendium reflecting on the forum's formative years.

Guest speakers hosting the Eady Forum seminars included Fraser Muggeridge,  FieldJulia,  Scott King, Marc Valli (owner of Magma bookshop and editor-in-chief of Elephant Magazinen) and John Warwicker, the co-founder of multidisciplinary studio Tomato

A compendium featuring an overview of two years worth of seminars was published in 2013
